Carly the cocker spaniel dog is a brave one, this is a sad story about an animal who needs people’s help and does not receive it, unfortunately, animal cruelty is present in our society all too often. Carly’s nightmare started when she was discovered huddled out in one corner carrying a plastic bag full of dead puppies. This brutal act makes one wonder about the fate of animals and countless other things and at the same time it prompt question of how being a pet owner.
The Discovery
Paul Skinner and his friends met Carly during a biking trip, and observing her, the author noticed that the dog instantly establishes maternal welfare behavior when around her puppies, gripping a bag tightly where they are. She proved to participants the affection most animals have of their young regardless of the environment they are in. In reaction to Carly’s suffering, the cyclists called the authorities, which in turn brought the local workers of an animal shelter.
The Aftermath
Upon investigation they noticed that Carly had left just a few hours after they had given birth to their baby.
