Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have had a lot of ups and downs since Megan announced her pregnancy, but living apart is something they’re used to.
A source tells Us Weekly that Megan and MGK never fully lived together during their relationship. Fox, 38, recently bought a new house for herself, wanting a fresh start. The source says that she had been renting for a year while waiting for the right house to come along.
Before their most recent breakup, Fox was living in a Malibu rental. Now, she’s settled into her new home. The new house is closer to her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, which makes it easier for them to co-parent their three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8.
Although the new house came after the breakup, the source insists that the move had nothing to do with their split. Megan has always liked having her own space.
Fox and Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020 and went public with their relationship after Fox and Green split. MGK proposed to Fox in January 2022, but the couple faced issues during their wedding planning.
They had an on-and-off relationship over the past two years. In November, Fox announced she was pregnant with their first child after a previous miscarriage. This will be Megan’s fourth child, while Kelly already has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
Fox and Kelly broke up in late November, shortly after the pregnancy announcement. Sources say the breakup happened after constant fighting between the couple. However, they might get back together in the future.
Two days after the breakup, Fox’s ex-husband, Green, commented on the situation. He expressed concern for Fox and her pregnancy, saying he just wanted what was best for her and their children.
Meanwhile, Kelly decided to take a break from Hollywood. A source shared that he left California to work on himself and take a break from the situation. He’s made it clear that the relationship with Fox is over for now.
