Instead of words of appreciation, the owner of the wallet decided to accuse the man of wallets theft equaling to fifty dollars. As the owner revealed, there used to be $750 in the wallet. Such accusation left the finder in disbelief, because he vouched he had returned every single dollar that had been found.

It went on and in one instance, the two ended up before a judge in court. The owner of the wallet claimed that the man had picked $50 out of the wallet before putting back the rest. The man however defended himself stating that he only discovered $700 on the wallet and therefore would not have taken it. He finally gave some time and looked at both stories very keenly when the conflict between the two were on the rise.

It was a wise decision of the judge having ruled in favour of the man who had taken his time to look for the owner of the wallet and returned it to him instead. The judge also pointed out that there is no evidence that can prove the initial amount of money that was in wallet, thus there are no ground for accusations. Totally unexpected, the judge agreed with the man and stated that the wallet, with $700 in cash should remain with the man who found it provided that a true owner was not in a position to reclaim it with the right documents to back his or her claims.
