My Neighbor Threw Eggs at My Car Because It Was ‘Blocking the View’ of His Halloween Decorations

Genevieve, a sleep-deprived mom of twins, is barely managing to keep her life together. When her car is egged, she assumes it’s a prank, but soon finds out it’s her neighbor, Brad. He claims that her car is blocking the view of his extravagant Halloween decorations. Despite being too exhausted to argue, Genevieve decides to get back at him. Brad is known for going overboard with his yearly Halloween display, which has the entire neighborhood talking. But Genevieve, struggling with her newborns, has no energy or interest in participating in his Halloween obsession.

One morning, after discovering the eggs on her car, Genevieve confronts Brad, who unapologetically admits to egging her car. He argues that her parking is ruining his view of his decorations. In disbelief, Genevieve tries to explain that she parks where it’s easiest for her to manage the twins, but Brad is unmoved. He suggests she park elsewhere once Halloween is over, which only adds to Genevieve’s frustration.

Later that night, she comes up with a plan to teach Brad a lesson. She casually suggests to him that his Halloween display could use some upgrades, mentioning fog machines and ghost projectors. Brad, eager to outshine the neighborhood, falls for her suggestion. However, the equipment she recommended was low-quality and prone to malfunctioning.

On Halloween night, as Brad’s display fails miserably with fog machines malfunctioning, the ghost projector malfunctioning, and inflatables deflating, Genevieve watches from her porch with the twins. The crowd laughs at Brad’s expense, and the Halloween King’s reign is over. The next day, Brad comes to apologize, acknowledging his overreaction. Genevieve, with a smirk, accepts his apology, knowing she taught him a valuable lesson.
