How Did We Get So Close to 2025?
It feels like just yesterday we were living in 2008, doesn’t it? United were winning Champions League titles, and Ne-Yo’s Miss Independent was the anthem of the year. Social media was just taking off, and mobile phones were only used for calling or sending BBMs. Yet here we are, rapidly approaching 2025.
A ‘Worrying’ Calendar Find
As the end of 2024 nears, one curious detail has caught the attention of social media users. Eagle-eyed Twitter users have noticed something strange about the first few days of January 2025. It seems that, like 2020 when the world felt like it was falling apart due to the spread of COVID, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of January are all falling on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
What’s the Big Deal?
Now here’s where it gets interesting. If you take the first letter of each of those days—Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—you get “WTF.” Yes, you read that right. “What the f**k.” It’s a little detail that has Twitter users asking if this is some sort of bad omen for the start of the New Year.
Should We Be Concerned?
Many people are already joking (or maybe not) that this strange coincidence is a sign of something “worrying” heading into 2025. One Twitter user even asked, “Should we be worried that 2025 begins with ‘wtf’?” It’s hard not to laugh at the idea, but as we all know, 2025 might just surprise us.
It’s safe to say that if we’ve learned anything from the past few years, we should expect the unexpected. Whatever happens, we’re all in this together—and maybe we’ll look back at this as just another funny start to the year.
