Rebel Wilson has legally married her wife, Ramona Agruma, in a private ceremony in Australia. This is their second wedding, following a grand celebration in Italy just three months earlier.
The couple first made their relationship public in June 2022. They got engaged in November 2022 at Disneyland after just seven months of dating. Wilson shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting pictures from in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. “We said YES!” she wrote alongside the photos, thanking Tiffany & Co. for the ring and Disneyland for making the proposal so special.
Shortly after getting engaged, the couple welcomed their first child, Royce, via surrogate. Now, they’ve decided to marry in Sydney, Wilson’s hometown.
In an Instagram post, the 44-year-old actress shared photos from the intimate event, which took place near the harbor with family and friends. “My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney!” Wilson captioned the post. “It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come, which was very special for us.” She also mentioned how it felt right to get married in her hometown during this time of year.
The couple looked happy in the pictures, with Wilson wearing a rose-colored off-the-shoulder dress and Agruma in a cream and pink outfit. Some of the photos showed them enjoying a celebratory dinner inside the Opera House after the ceremony. The post quickly gained attention, with over 286,000 likes and numerous congratulatory comments from fans.
Wilson spoke about how her relationship with Agruma surprised her. She had always thought she was looking for a “Prince Charming,” but when she met Agruma, she realized her feelings for women had always been there, just not fully explored.
While Wilson doesn’t feel the need to label her sexuality, she expressed how happy she is in her current relationship. Congratulations to the couple!
